Arwynn has Dario arrested and thrown in the dungeon. He and Gwynn are destroyed by the idea that Dario betrayed them. Timithor shows up at their card game and discovering what happened with Dario, shares a story about him and his best friend (Umbrathor) and the disastrous consequences of shutting your friends out. Arwynn and Gwynn reconcile with Dario, but now Timithor cannot stop thinking about Umbrathor. Bayron, Brody, Lucifex and Pyralia flee the Caldera when Flinton Spark takes over.
