A team of human-sized ducks in hockey uniforms playing against other teams brings curiosity to police captain Clegghorn who asks the team's manager Phil Palmfeather about their origin. Phil explains via flashback that the ducks came from Puckworld, a planet in another dimension where hockey is a way of life and ducks are the dominant species, as far as one can tell.
