On an early June morning in 2007, 32-year-old Chris Vaughn was found limping away from his SUV with two non-fatal gunshot wounds. His children, 12-year-old Abigayle, 11-year-old Cassandra, and 8-year-old Blake, were found dead, seated together in the rear passenger seat, each shot twice. The body of Chris’ wife, Kimberly, was in the front passenger seat, slumped over the center console with a single contact gunshot wound under her chin. Chris’ handgun was found on the floorboard near her feet. Five years later, a jury convicted Chris of murdering his family, and he is now serving four life sentences.
