In this episode, we'll be introducing the Japanese favorite gyudon, or "beef bowl." Beef is simmered in a flavorful mixture of equal parts mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and sake, making this an easy and delicious recipe even for beginners, and it's made with Japan's unique cut of thinly sliced beef trimmings, making the dish affordable as well.
